Trustees, staff and members work together in this group to improve the environment, paths, planting and wildlife in the Valley. It is committed to practical active work and meets seasonally to co-ordinate and support activities.

• Clean Green Ouseburn - volunteer working parties to keep Ouseburn tidy and improve the green spaces
• Commenting on current environmental projects - working with the City Council to prioritise environmental improvements to paths and steps
• Building partnerships to address wider concerns - for example working with Tyne Rivers Trust and Groundwork to look at ways to improve water quality, or partnering with Ouseburn Farm on the Ouseburn Green Spaces project
